In the updated version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the voting system has been significantly improved. At the moment, there is no need to try to change the map by dialing votes or ask the administration to make a manual replacement. You just need to know where the menu is. There is also a way to do the transfer through the console.
How to change the map in CS:GO — through the console:
- Open the console by pressing the “tilde” key.
- In the line that appears, enter a map piece of the map name.
- Select the required card from the drop-down list.
- Done! Map changed.
Note that this also works for Workshop maps on Steam. Some maps may not contain the same file name as the map name. For example, the crashz ’Crosshair Generator v2 map is launched via the map xhair_v2 command.
